4. Application for access to the restricted area

Scientists can send an inquiry about the possibility of an access to the closed area for a scientific research project. Information about the research program, the requested research period and the total number of people (scientists and their company) shall be included in the e-mail. The scientific advisory group evaluates applications according to art.4 of the access rules.

Parties that assume that they fulfill the requirements in art.2 of the access rules concerning the definition of a media  can send in an inquiry about the possibility for an access to the closed area together with information of the total number of visiting people (including e.g.driver,guide,helicopter pilot) and the requested date for a visit.

After an evaluation of the information sent in application forms will be sent to those parties that are found to fulfill the requirements of the access rules.

Applications for permits are processed between 09:00 and 15:00 Monday through Thursday. Processing time is at least two work days.
